Foreign artist gets 'King of Mask Singer' gig

A famous foreign pop singer will appear on TV show “King of Mask Singer,” which airs Sunday evening on MBC, it was reported Friday.
It will be the first time a foreign artist has appeared. There is speculation the singer is Filipino-American Jeff Bernat.

The weekly program shows celebrities competing to become a “singing king” or “singing queen” while remaining unidentified. Contestants wear masks, have nicknames and talk in a helium-induced voice to show host Kim Sung-joo and judges.
