Yoon Jin-seo to appear in historical drama

Actress Yoon Jin-seo, 32, will join the new TV drama “Daebak (Jackpot)” with actor Jang Keun-suk.
The historical drama is about a gambler in the Joseon Kingdom (1392-1910). Yoon will play Choi Sukbin, spouse of King Sukjong and mother of King Yeongjo.
Jang will play the gambler Daegil, who was abandoned by Sukbin at birth, and he competes with his half-brother King Yeongjo.
Yoon debuted in the 2001 short film “Perfect Day.” She rose to stardom after being featured in the 2003 global blockbuster “Old Boy.”
Veteran actor Choi Min-soo will also appear in the drama, playing King Sukjong.
The drama will air in March.
