First-generation K-pop band g.o.d will release a new single album next month, Sidus HQ said Tuesday.

The five-member band _ Park Joon-hyung, Yoon Kye-sang, Danny Ahn, Son Ho-young and Kim Tae-woo _ reunited last year after disbanding in 2003.

The new album will contain ballads that go with winter, the company said.

g.o.d had been called the “band of winter.” Since it debuted in 1999, it has released its tracks in the season.

The new songs will be unveiled on Dec. 16, before the band begins a five-day solo concert series in Seoul.

The band debuted with popular song “Dear Mother.” It rose to stardom with many hits, including “Love and Memory,” “Lies” and “Road.”
