Psy will release a new album next month, a year after he was originally rumored to be planning a return.
YG Entertainment said Tuesday Psy, who is best known for his dance and fancy wardrobe in the music video of his 2012 hit single “Gangnam Style,” will unveil the album on Dec.1., on the company’s official blog page.
With the album, Psy will be breaking a hiatus of more than a year since his last single, “Hangover,” was released in June 2014.
The music video of “Gangnam Style,” which catapulted him to worldwide fame nearly three years ago, holds the Guinness World Record as the most-liked YouTube video.
With more than 2.4 billion views, it also remains the most-watched K-pop music video.
