News announcer-turned-TV show host Jun Hyun-moo proved himself a masterful entertainer in a new program on Monday, in which he took multiple roles.
Funnyman Jun, 37, headed
the one-man show -- “The Jun Hyun-moo Show” -- on KBS2, where he hosted news and
talk segments, posed as a field reporter to interview elementary students and invited his friends in an impromptu fashion to Yeouido Park in Seoul to host a quiz show.
The show aired for 80 minutes. It was made on a small budget and had a simple studio set.

Netizens praised Jun, acknowledging his many skills as a TV entertainer and the program’s creativeness in the “one-man-show” format.
“I have never tried this type of a show,” Jun was quoted as saying. “I spent six days making the program’s single episode.”
Jun debuted in 2003 as a TV anchorman for YTN but has been pursuing his career outside the news world as a TV show host and TV entertainer.
