Rising Korean singer Z.Hera has signed a long-term contract with major Chinese celebrity management company Show City Times.

A media report Tuesday said Z.Hera, 19, had agreed to work with the company for at least 10 years, receiving 2 billion won ($1.7 million) a year. The company houses popular Chinese stars including Jane Zhang, who is known as China’s Mariah Carey.

Zhang recently gained global fame after singing “Fighting Shadows,” from American sci-fi action blockbuster movie “Terminator: Genisys,” which opened in Korean theaters in early July.

Z.Hera’s Korean management company, Artisans Music, released photos that show the singer at a party celebrating the movie’s opening, held June in Beijing. In the photos, she posed with Chinese actresses including Betty Zhou and Zhang.

Debuting in 2013 with album “Z.Hera Born,” Z.Hera caught TV viewers’ attention in MBC’s music show “Show! Music Focus” on Saturday, performing “XOX” with eye-catching dance moves.
