Rookie K-pop girl group KiiiKiii returned Monday with its second mini-album, "Delulu Pack," framing "delusion" as a playful expression of youthful freedom.

Released under Starship Entertainment — home to K-pop acts IVE and CRAVITY — the album builds on the confident tone of the group’s breakout debut single "I DO ME." According to the agency, "Delulu Pack" explores KiiiKiii’s identity by "layering the world with colors and narratives unique to the group."

The quintet introduced the album during a media showcase held Monday at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul's Gwangjin District, just hours before its official release at 6 p.m. Appearing in white fur-accented outfits, the five KiiiKiii members — Jiyu, Leesol, Sui, Haum and Kya — performed new songs and shared behind-the-scenes stories from the album's production,

Jiyu, the group's leader, said the album's title was inspired by the term "delulu," a shortened, online meme-derived form of the word "delusional."

"We wanted to share KiiiKiii's own playful and lighthearted fantasies through this album," Jiyu said.

"Delulu Pack" consists of six tracks, led by the title song "404 (New Era)," alongside "Delulu," "UNDERDOGS," "MUNGNYANG," "Dizzy" and "To Me From Me," produced by alternative hip hop trio Epik High's Tablo.

The album stands out for its genre range, a notable move for a rookie K-pop group. Across the track list, KiiiKiii moves between disco, house, bass-driven sounds, hip-hop and retro pop influences, further expanding its musical scope.

The title track in particular draws on the familiar internet error message "404 Not Found," reimagining it as a symbol of freedom without fixed coordinates. Built on upbeat U.K. house and garage beats, the song pairs an infectious groove with the members' unique vocals.

Leesol described the track as a statement of the group's trademark confidence.

"The song represents KiiiKiii's bold energy and carries the message of ‘New Year, New KiiiKiii,'" she said. "It takes inspiration from an error page to show that we are not a team with predetermined answers, but one that creates its own."

She recalled the first time the members listened to the song together.

"We all said it felt fresh, like something we hadn't heard before," Leesol said. "We were excited because it felt like a song that could show a new side and new colors of KiiiKiii."

Kya highlighted the final section of the choreography as the song's key moment.

"There is a part at the end where we dance freely, as if we are enjoying a party," she said. "That part really captures the charm of the song."

According to the members, freedom remains the album's central theme, continuing a concept introduced at the group's debut. With members ranging in age from 15 to 20, KiiiKiii leans into youth and ambition, echoing the self-defining mindset it presented last year with "Uncut Gem."

Sui said the group feels that freedom most clearly on stage.

"We feel free when we prepare something together and deliver everything through our performance," she said.

"As this album is about freedom, we want to show our own moments of existing freely, without fixed coordinates, just as we did at our debut."
