K-pop’s newest large-scale boy group project Idntt has officially entered the market with the debut of its first unit, Unevermet.

Unevermet held a media showcase for its self-titled debut album “Unevermet” on Monday at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Hannam-dong, Seoul.

Following the format of the 24-member girl group tripleS, Idntt will consist of 24 members split into three units — Unevermet, Yesweare and Itsnotover. Each unit will debut with eight new members, gradually assembling the full group before all 24 perform together under the name Itsnotover.

Unevermet’s concept centers on portraying the “raw identity” of youth, steering away from conventional boy band formats to tell authentic stories.

“We all worked really hard for this moment. I’m nervous and happy, and I hope many will look forward to our performances,” member Nam Ji-woon said.

As the first unit to debut, the members admitted to feeling pressure. “There was a burden because we were told to pave the way until the next unit comes out,” Choi Tae-in said. Still, they cited their ability to show both honesty and variety as strengths. “Our biggest strength is showing the raw side of youth, and through the three units we can present many different styles,” Kim Do-hun said.

After the full group’s activities, fans will be able to vote through the interactive system “Gravity” to reshuffle the unit lineups. “I’m really looking forward to growing together with fans through communication,” Kim added.

Unevermet is debuting with an unconventional three title tracks. “You Never Met” captures the excitement of a first meeting born of chance. “Storm” is an electronic pop anthem about diving into challenges without looking back. “BOYtude” expresses the defiant attitude of boys facing life head-on, treating every scar as a badge of honor.

The members named Seventeen as their role model. “Even with many members, each one has a distinct charm and strong skills. Despite their different styles, they create incredible synergy as a team. We want to put on great performances like them,” Kim Do-hun said.

Looking ahead, the group has ambitious goals. “Our goal is to make it onto the Billboard charts,” Kim Ju-ho said.

The debut album “Unevermet” was released on major music platforms at 6 p.m. on Monday.
