K-pop boy band Stray Kids will conclude its largest-ever world tour, "Stray Kids World Tour 'dominATE'," with a final concert at Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy, on Wednesday, marking the end of a global run that spanned five continents, 34 cities and 54 performances in nearly a year.

Kicking off at Seoul's KSPO Dome in August 2024, the tour took the eight-member group across Asia, Oceania, Latin America, North America and Europe.

According to its agency, JYP Entertainment, the group traveled an estimated 285,000 kilometers during this tour, roughly equivalent to circling the Earth seven times, highlighting the tour's expansive scale.

The tour was named after the band's ninth EP "ATE," released back in July 2024, and the word "dominate," a nod to the group's ambition to conquer the global music scene.

The group performed in 34 venues in total, including 31 for the first time. Twenty-seven of the venues were open-air stadiums, marking a dramatic expansion from their previous tour, "MANIAC," which featured just one stadium show in Los Angeles in 2023.

Through a press release on Monday, the agency described the jump from a single stadium show to 27 on the next tour as a "2,600 percent increase in stadium-scale performances."

The group made history for K-pop throughout the tour, becoming the first act to perform at numerous overseas stadiums, including Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil, and six major venues across North America. In Arlington, Texas, Stray Kids also became the first K-pop band to hold back-to-back concerts at Globe Life Field, while in Toronto, they were the first to perform at Rogers Centre following its June renovation.

The band also reached new heights in Europe with stadium shows in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid and Rome. Performances in the Netherlands, Germany and Spain marked the first time an Asian act held a stand-alone concert of such scale in those countries.

Stray Kids continued to set milestones until the final leg of the tour. On July 26 and 27, they performed two consecutive concerts at Stade de France in Paris, marking the octet's largest stand-alone concerts to date, with a concert capacity of around 60,000.

The boy band is also set to become the first K-pop act to perform at Rome's Stadio Olimpico, which seats more than 70,000.

According to JYP, the tour represents a massive step forward in the group's global trajectory. Since their official debut in 2018, Stray Kids have consistently expanded their international presence, achieving six No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 and appearing at major U.S. award shows such as the MTV Video Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards.

The agency described this tour as a clear demonstration of Stray Kids' rise to "global top artist" status.

"Every step Stray Kids has taken ... shows how they've reached the top by claiming unprecedented 'first' and 'biggest' titles in K-pop and Asian music history through its new world tour, 'dominATE'," JYP said.
