Singer and actor Choi Min-ho, best known as Minho from the K-pop group SHINee, is set to hold his first solo concerts next month, marking a milestone in his 16-year music career.

The singer’s agency, SM Entertainment, announced Tuesday that the singer will hold “2024 MINHO CONCERT [MEAN : of my first]” at 6 p.m. on Nov. 30 and at 4 p.m. on Dec. 1, both at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk District, Seoul.

Earlier this year, Minho released his new single "Stay for a Night," where he contributed to writing the lyrics. The R&B track, featuring lo-fi guitar riffs and rhythmic drums, conveys a longing to reconnect with a love who has always been present in the simple moments of everyday life.

“Minho kicked off the year energetically by releasing his new single 'Stay for a night' in January and holding his first fan concert,” the agency said in the release.

“Now, an enthusiastic response is expected as he presents his unique music and performances to fans through his solo concert until the last month of this year.”

The new single follows the release of his first mini-album, “CHASE,” in December 2022. The album was a success, topping the iTunes Top Album Charts in 43 different regions, the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, and Japan’s RecoChoku Daily Album ranking.

Minho debuted as a member of SHINee in 2008, which became an instant hit with the group’s debut song "Replay," better known as "Noona, You're So Pretty (Replay)." The group has released a string of hit songs, like “Ring Ding Dong” (2009), “Sherlock” (2012), and “Don’t Call Me” (2021).

The singer also made his way into acting in 2010 and has been appearing in various series and films, including the Netflix romance series, "The Fabulous” (2022), and the thriller film, “New Normal” (2023).

He recently starred in the family drama series, “Romance in the House,” playing the supporting role of a former national taekwondo athlete. He also made his theatrical play debut with "Waiting for Waiting for Godot,” which runs from Sept. 7 through Dec. 1.

He will be releasing his first full-length solo album later this year and is set to perform at the upcoming “2024 K-Link Festival,” held at INSPIRE Arena, in Incheon, on Oct. 5.
