Loossemble expresses endless love in new album 'TTYL'

Loossemble, a K-pop girl group formed by five former members of Loona, released its third mini-album, "TTYL," on Monday, which conveys a message of endless love to its fans.
The group, comprised of Hyunjin, Yeojin, Vivi, Gowon and Hyeju, launched under the members' new agency CTDE&M in September 2023 after Loona's activities were suspended in 2022 due to a legal dispute with their former agency.
Now marking a vibrant return with its third mini-album, Loossemble hosted a media showcase on the album's release date at Ilchi Art Hall in Gangnam District, Seoul, where the five shared their excitement about the new album.
Loossemble's latest offering, "TTYL," stands for "Talk to You Later." The album delivers the message, "We have endless love for you," dedicated to the group's fans who have shown unwavering support.
"Everyone has different thoughts and emotions. We wanted to show our process of growth by accepting and understanding these differences," Hyunjin, the group's leader, explained.
The eponymous title track of the album expresses the playful emotions of playing hard to win a lover's heart. The song was produced by Ryan S. Jhun, a hit songwriter and producer who previously collaborated with the group members on tracks like "PTT (Paint the Town)" when they were active as part of Loona.
Gowon called the title track a "sweet and tangy song that triggers an inner dance, full of the group's refreshing aspect."
Reflecting on their collaboration with Jhun, Hyeju said, "We had the opportunity to work with him during our time in Loona, and we were fortunate to collaborate again this time. He understands each member very well, which has greatly contributed to the album."
The album also showcases a diverse range of musical styles, including new unit songs like "Confessions" and "Cotton Candy," alongside tracks such as "Hocus Pocus" and "Secret Diary."
Expressing her hopes for the album's success, Yeojin said, "I want to see our group's name on music charts (since) we've worked hard. I also hope to win first place on music shows and attend various events."

Reflecting on the past year spent as members of the new group, the five acknowledged that they've continued pushing forward, drawing strength from the support of their official fandom, C.Loo, and their agency.
Already on their third mini-album under a new name, the members expressed their anticipation for upcoming activities.
"We're only human, so of course, we want to rest and have fun, but we do realize that we have to strike while the iron is hot. We can relax later," Yeojin said.
Gowon chimed in, adding, "I felt some regret that we couldn't fully showcase ourselves during our previous promotions, so we were eager to prepare quickly and deliver a great performance."
Following its promotion activities for "TTYL" in Korea, Loossemble will embark on the "Loossemble 2024 Concert IN U.S. Up_Link Station" tour, visiting nine cities across the United States. Kicking off in Orlando, Florida, on Oct. 6, the event is set to culminate in Los Angeles on Oct. 25, with stops in New York, Boston, Pittsburgh, Madison, Minneapolis, Tacoma and San Francisco.
