K-pop girl group IVE has successfully had its first performance at Lollapalooza, one of the major music festivals in the United States.

The six-member group performed on Saturday, the third day of the four-day festival held at Grant Park in Chicago from Thursday through Sunday. It put on a dynamic 45-minute show.

"While being on a world tour, our members discussed a lot about our Lollapalooza performance. We went on stage to show everything we prepared with the band and dancers. And thanks to the cheers DIVE (IVE's fandom name) and the audience gave us, we were able to complete the performance successfully," the group's leader An Yu-jin said through its agency, Starship Entertainment.

"I'm grateful to everyone for enjoying IVE's performance, including DIVEs, who always show us support. It was a really great experience. We will return (this gratitude) with great performances at the upcoming encore concerts."

The group performed a total of 11 songs, including rock versions of "ROYAL" and "Accendio," along with its hit songs "LOVE DIVE," "ELEVEN," "Kitsch" and "After LIKE." The members ended their show with their first English-language single, a remake of the Swedish duo Icona Pop's song "All Night."

Started in 1991, Lollapalooza is one of the largest and longest-running music festivals in the U.S., encompassing diverse music genres including pop, rock, and hip-hop. This year, two K-pop groups, IVE and Stray Kids, performed at the festival, along with pop stars SZA, Hozier and Megan Thee Stallion.

IVE — comprised of An, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz and Leeseo — is currently on its first world tour, titled "IVE THE 1ST WORLD TOUR 'SHOW WHAT I HAVE'," traveling to 27 different cities in 19 countries, putting on 37 shows since last October.

Following the Lollapalooza debut, the group is set to perform at Japan's annual Summer Sonic music festival, which will be held on Aug. 17 in Osaka and Aug. 18 in Tokyo. It is scheduled to have additional encore concerts of its world tour in Korea at the KSPO Dome on Saturday and Sunday and in Japan at Tokyo Dome on Sept. 4 and 5.
