Following its electrifying performances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, Friday, K-pop act Ateez announced the release of its new album slated for the end of May.
Ateez shared a promotional map Sunday on its social media accounts, unveiling the title, "GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1," of the band's upcoming record. The map also detailed its additional promotional schedule, including release dates for concept photos and music video teasers, set to be revealed sequentially from Monday until the album's launch on May 31.
Notably, the image featured on the poster attracted attention as it had been previously displayed during Ateez's recent Coachella performance, where it was suspended above the venue from an aircraft.
Additionally, member Hongjoong's use of a fan inscribed with the words "Golden Hour" during the Coachella set, Friday, ignited enthusiastic reactions online.

Debuting in 2018, Ateez has since been making waves, achieving career milestones such as topping the U.S. Billboard 200 chart with its second studio album, "THE WORLD EP FIN: WILL" in 2023, which remained in the chart for an impressive six consecutive weeks.
The group's Coachella performance not only marked its debut on the stage of the United States' largest music festival but also established it as the first K-pop boy group to perform there.
Ateez also engaged fans through a pop-up exhibition at the Grammy Museum, further broadening its global reach.
