Kim Chae-won, a member of K-pop girl group Le Sserafim, is set to resume activities from Nov. 1, after a brief hiatus due to health concerns.

Le Sserafim's agency, Source Music, confirmed Wednesday that Kim received medical clearance for her to return to schedule. This pause in activities came after Kim, along with fellow Le Sserafim members Huh Yun-jin and Kazuha, was diagnosed with influenza A on Oct. 6.

On Oct. 16, the agency announced the temporary suspension of Kim's activities.

"After seeking additional medical attention on Oct. 13 due to persistent dizziness following her influenza A treatment, medical experts advised that she needed time for rest and recovery," it stated.

The group had also canceled the scheduled "2023 LESSERAFIM TOUR 'FLAME RISES' IN BANGKOK" performance in Thailand to ensure the well-being of infected members.

Comprising members Kim, Huh, Hong Eun-chae, Sakura and Kazuha, Le Sserafim debuted in 2022 originally as a six-member group. However, the group became a quintet after one of the former members faced allegations of school violence.

Despite the initial turbulence, the group steadily gained popularity and achieved chart-topping success with "Antifragile" (2022) and "Unforgiven" (2023).
