Emerging K-pop boy band RIIZE is gearing up for the release of their sophomore single album, just two months after their debut.

SM Entertainment, the powerhouse behind the group, announced on Monday that the RIIZE's second single, "Talk Saxy," will drop on Oct. 27.

In an official statement, the agency described "Talk Saxy" as a composition that melds saxophone melodies with drum machine beats and lyrics capturing the group's authentic style.

SM Entertainment further expressed high hopes for the new release, given the group's previous triumphs with tracks such as "Memories" and "Get A Guitar."

"RIIZE has pioneered its unique musical genre, dubbed as 'emotional pop,' which conveys sentiments of youth through music. We invite all to anticipate the fresh facets the upcoming song will unveil," it said.

RIIZE, comprising seven members ― Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee and Anton ― takes its name from the blend of two words, "rise" and "realize," emphasizing their collective growth and dreams.

The septet rose to stardom with their debut album, released on Sept. 4, achieving million-seller status within just a week. They gained global popularity with chart-topping hits and captivating performances that set them apart from other rookie groups.
