Rapper apologizes over delayed refund of lesson fees

Kim Seung-min, a rapper who appeared in Mnet's “Show Me the Money,” a famous talent show for rappers, has apologized for delaying a refund for a cancelled rap lesson after a former “student” revealed the matter online.
Kim wrote on Instagram Saturday: “The refund process for my rap lesson (for my student) was delayed for several months due to my personal reasons and ignorance. It was a nine-month delay. It is definitely my fault and I have no excuses. I am sorry. I contacted the student and apologized over the matter. Taking this opportunity, I will try my best to develop myself and make good music.”
The apology came after a netizen who claimed to be Kim's student for rap classes in the past wrote a post claiming that they failed to get a refund for the lesson for months without any clear reason the rapper.
“I was asked to pay the tuition for last two rap classes in advance. But I wasn't able to contact him with one class left. I continued to try and contact him but there was no reply. But suddenly I was able to get a refund after I told him that I would talk about this to his company … I posted this to let everybody know what happened to prevent others from having the same problem as me after finding out that he is again giving rap lessons and looking for students.”
Debuting in 2014, the 25-year-old rapper became famous after appearing on the Mnet show in 2019.
