TWICE gives glimpse of new song 'Cry For Me'

K-pop girl band TWICE dropped a teaser video for its new track “Cry For Me” on its YouTube channel Monday.
The 37-second clip features the eight members ― excluding Jeongyeon, who has been taking a break due to anxiety issues ― showing off their alluring looks against a red and black backdrop.
“Cry For Me” is set to hit multiple streaming sites at 2 p.m. on Dec. 18.
“The song is about those who walk a thin line between love and hate,” TWICE's agency JYP Entertainment said in a statement. “JYP's founder/producer Park Jin-young and singer-songwriter HEIZE co-wrote the lyrics, centering on the moments in which the extremes of love and hate coexist.”
TWICE premiered “Cry For Me” at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) on Dec. 6. The video featuring the group's performance had surpassed 9.4 million views on Mnet's YouTube channel as of Monday.
TWICE debuted in 2015 with the EP “The Story Begins.” The band's hits include “Cheer Up” (2016) and “Heart Shaker” (2017).
