K-pop diva Chungha unveiled two photos Tuesday as teasers for her new single “Honestly, I'm Tired.”
In the first Twitter photo disclosed by her agency MNH Entertainment, Chungha has a melancholy look, presumably hinting at the concept of her fresh release. She sits against a window and keeps her eyes closed in the second image.
“Honestly, I'm Tired” will be released on Feb. 29. Producer Armadillo, who was behind the success of singer-actress Suzy's ballad track “Pretend” (2017), has joined forces with Chungha this time.
The singer's new release is a part of MNH's “New.wav”project that aims to create a new wave on the current music scene. The project kicked off earlier February, with the agency's girl band BVNDIT dropping the single “Cool.”
Chungha shot to fame after appearing on TV survival reality show “Produce 101” on Mnet in 2016 and joined project girl group I.O.I, comprising 11 top rankers from the contest. Following the group's disbandment in 2017, she has been going solo, releasing a string of hit numbers including “Snapping” (2019).
