Singer Goo Hara was found dead in her home in Seoul, police said Sunday evening. They are still investigating the cause of her death.
Goo, 28, was found at her home in Cheongdam-dong, southern Seoul, at 6:09 p.m., according to the Seoul Gangnam Police Station.
Goo debuted in 2008 as a member of girl group Kara. After the group was disbanded in 2016, she continued with her solo career here and in Japan.
In September 2018, she filed a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend surnamed Choi over assault and illegal filming after he threatened to upload secretly taken photos of her. In August, a lower court sentenced Choi to 18 months in prison with three years of probation.
In May, Goo was found unconscious in what was seen as a suicide attempt.
