Tomorrow X Together to perform on biggest Japanese fashion festivals

Rookie boy band Tomorrow X Together (TXT) of Big Hit Entertainment, the home label of BTS, will perform at two of Japan's biggest fashion festivals, for the first time in K-pop history.
The five-member group will perform at both Kansai Collection and Tokyo Girls Collection 2019 Autumn-Winter, which are semiannual festivals that invite various celebrities and influencers. The band will perform for the Kansai Collection on Aug. 27 and for the Tokyo Girls Collection on Sept. 7.
Previously, girl groups BLACKPINK and TWICE performed at the Tokyo Girls Collection 2018 Spring-Summer, and Autumn-Winter, respectively, and most recently, boy band The Boyz performed at Osaka Kyocera Dome for Kansai Collection's 2019 Spring-Summer event on March 17.
This will be the first time for a K-pop group to perform at both festivals consecutively.
TXT debuted in March with its album titled “The Dream Chapter: Star.” The fashion festivals will be the group's first official visit to Japan.
As a group following K-pop superstar group BTS under the advice of producer Bang Si-hyuk, a lot of attention will be on the group to see whether it can follow in the footsteps of the legendary boy band.
