YouTube will release a four-episode documentary on rapper Jay Park through YouTube Original at 11 p.m. May 1.

The documentary, “Jay Park: Chosen1,” will sketch Park's 10-year career to become a hip-hop icon in Asia and his new journey into the music industry in the United States.

Park, CEO of hip-hop label AOMG, is the first Asian artist to sign a contract with American label Roc Nation, home to world-recognized artists including Rihanna, Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled.

AOMG artists, Simon Dominic, Loco, and Gray, and American artist Far East Movement feature in the videos as Park's close companions who have been part of his career.

The episodes will be available exclusively to YouTube Premium users through Park's channel next Wednesday.
