Hugh Grant, who has become the quintessential, debonair romantic comedy leading man, returns in his newest film, “The Rewrite,” as Keith Michaels, whose earlier successful screenwriting career in Hollywood has dried up. This forces him to accept a teaching position at a small state college in America. Of course, a Hugh Grant romantic comedy would be egregiously incomplete without a love interest and happy ending; that role is filled by Marisa Tomei, who plays single mother Holly Carpenter who enrolls in Michaels’ class and proceeds to change his life forever. The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby
“The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby” tells the heartbreaking story of an ordinary couple’s (James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain) attempts to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of their child’s tragic death. Told in a three-part series, the first two in the collection are told from each protagonist’s perspective, while the third and final installment focuses on the couple’s joint point of view. Revivre
From one of Korea’s most prolific and renowned film directors comes an incredibly affecting tale about the profound complexity of the human soul. “Revivre” revolves around Oh Sang-moo (Ahn Sung-ki), a successful executive in a major cosmetics company who has fastidiously taken care of his ailing wife (Kim Ho-jung) for many years, but is becoming increasingly conflicted between his responsibilities as a dutiful husband and growing feelings for his younger colleague (Kim Gyu-ri).
