After more than a year without public appearances, actor Kim Soo-hyun was greeted by cheering and sometimes tearful fans in Indonesia, with piles of flowers and gifts offering a glimpse of the overseas fandom welcoming his visit.
A day after Kim made his first official public appearance since suspending his activities, his agency, Gold Medalist, shared two photos on its official social media account Monday.

The agency's post followed Kim's appearance Sunday as a special guest on Indonesian broadcaster RCTI's 37th anniversary live show, "Mahakarya RCTI 37."
Videos shared through RCTI's official account show Kim smiling and greeting a large crowd of local fans who had gathered to see him. He waved with both hands, gave a thumbs-up and made hand hearts as fans cheered. Some fans were seen crying upon seeing the actor in person.
