The Korea Times hosted an international forum on digitalized financial services, under the title “Sleeping With the Enemy ― Digital Disruption,” at the Plaza Hotel in central Seoul, Wednesday. More than 200 top executives of Korean financial institutions, analysts and foreign envoys attended the two-hour forum sponsored by the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS). FSS Governor Yoon Seok-hun delivered the opening speech under the theme “Financial Supervision in the Era of Digitalization.” Joydeep Sengupta, a senior partner of Mckinsey & Company, who leads the Asia―Pacific banking practice, presented case studies on Asia's leading financial firms' successful digital transformation.
