Huawei to strengthen partnership with Korean companies

Huawei, the world's largest supplier of telecoms equipment, will strengthen its partnership with Korean companies to develop information and communications technology (ICT).
Shawn Meng, head of Huawei Korea, said Friday that it is important to work with Korean companies to create a better environment for ICT research and development.
“The cornerstone of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is ICT development, which cannot be achieved by a few big players,” he said. “We will continue to strengthen our partnership with 200 local companies here for the betterment of the society.”
Lee In-ho, a senior official at Joongang Hitel, an installation and support service provider of communications equipment, said its partnership with Huawei has been mutually beneficial.
“Through the partnership, we have developed skills and knowhow about ISO standards,” Lee said. “Huawei has recently been making more efforts to work with partner companies here.”
