LG Electronics is aiming to tap deeper into the North American signage market by showcasing its latest products to potential partners in the region, the firm said Wednesday.
The tech company said it participated in the two-day Digital Signage Expo 2018 in Las Vegas and displayed a variety of innovative signage products including an organic light emitting diode (OLED) sign that offers unrivaled picture quality.
“We plan to secure new partnerships by introducing various commercial displays that utilize our advanced technologies,” an LG Electronics official said.
Among the products the firm showcased at the exhibition was a video wall display with a bezel of only 0.6 millimeters. It marked the first time for the company to introduce such a product in North America, the firm said. Even when a number of displays are connected to make a big screen, it offers an immersive viewing experience as its bezels are extremely thin, the firm added.
The Korean company also displayed signs adopting its OLED technology, including an OLED wallpaper that is less than 4 millimeters thick.
Other products showcased included an interactive digital board with ultra high definition resolution, designed for enterprise video conference system. The firm said it maximized product convenience, allowing users to share information by simply touching the display.
“We are enhancing partnerships with companies such as Cisco and Crestron in a bid to fulfill various needs of business customers,” the official said.
