Ahnlab holds 'remind up' campaign

By Lee Min-hyung

Ahnlab, the nation’s leading security software provider, said Monday that it held what it calls its “remind up” campaign for its employees.

The company said the campaign is part of its efforts to stress the importance of its “back to basics” spirit, helping its workers to look back on their past and establish concrete plans for this year.

“Office life is like a marathon which requires proper pacing,” Ahnlab CEO Kwon Chi-joong said in a statement. “All the individuals should pace themselves to reach the final destination with their co-workers.”

All the participants attended a lecture on ways to set specific goals, discussing them with colleagues, the company said. The education programs included knowhow exchange sessions with senior workers and a workshop to discuss their long-term goals.

Kim Won-jong, an engineer who joined the event, said, “The event helped me look back on my mistakes and learn tips to lead a better work life. I will not forget the moment I first joined the company.”

Ahnlab has engaged in a series of education programs for not just its employees, but for jobseekers too. Last month, the company pledged to foster more software coding specialists with its career development programs.
