Amazon developing smartphone with 3-D screen
Amazon.com has recently been developing a wide-ranging lineup of gadgets, including two smartphones and an audio-only streaming device, to expand its reach beyond its Kindle Fire line of tablet computers.
According to the Wall Street Journal, insiders at Amazon have been developing two different types of audio streaming systems.
The smartphones that Amazon is currently developing are top of the line and the three-dimensional imaging can be viewed without the use of special glasses.
By floating hologram-like images outside of the images, viewer can enjoy 3-D without using the special glasses from any angle.
Amazon entered into the hardware market with the introduction of Kindlefire _ a tablet personal computer _ and proceeded to develop set-top boxes for streaming visual programs.
