'Apple, I am leaving you. You are not cool anymore'
Apple has come under fire for failing to make a proper apology on the court’s ruling that Samsung Electronics did not in fact infringe on its patents. “Apple, I am leaving you. You are not cool anymore’” said one journalist in a letter to Apple CEO Tim Cook. He used to be a self-confessed Apple loyalist.
In that letter dated Oct. 31, Ed Conway of the economic bureau of Skynews made these comments and carried them in his blog (
).
“I have been using Apple products since I was a teenager but I switched the iPhone of Apple with that from Samsung.
Commenting on all aspects of Apple’s latest products, Conway said the OS6 is a “truly, truly awful” operating system. He went on to say that the iPhone maps and the matching functions between applications and iTunes are seriously flawed.
The aspect that Conway regretted most was the fact that the image of Apple of the past has been lost.
He said the late Steve Jobs was pure in the pursuit of his work and innovation but all of these have been lost along the way.
Conway went on to say that the lame excuse posted on Apple’s website has caused disfomfort among those who read it.
