Kolmar Korea, a major original design manufacturer of beauty products, has launched an AI-powered platform designed to shorten sourcing timelines for client companies, enabling faster product launches.
The global company, which serves more than 4,300 clients worldwide, said Tuesday that the new platform’s time efficiency will help the companies target global beauty markets more conveniently. The online tool strengthens Kolmar Korea’s reputation in the global beauty industry as Korean products gain traction among global consumers with cost-effectiveness and quality.
Kolmarpkg.com is where beauty brand firms launching new products can search for packaging solutions by uploading images of an end product they want to release. The platform then analyzes the images and recommends a packaging container. The platform has 4,000 options for bottle, tube, jar, pump, closure, makeup, stick and accessory products, all made by companies Kolmar Korea has certified.
Besides the container type, the platform has a filtering feature allowing clients to search based on a product’s content type, volume and the country where the containers will be manufactured.
The packaging containers are manufactured and supplied by Kolmar Korea’s partner firms worldwide. The company’s headquarters here and subsidiaries in the United States, Canada and China jointly run the platform to manage orders from Kolmar Korea’s global markets, connecting clients directly to local package manufacturers.
The company said that clients can search and select ideal containers for their new products, choose suppliers, check minimum quantity to order and request invoices on the platform, saving time by allowing the entire package sourcing process to be done in one stop. This convenience has reduced the timeline for a beauty brand to launch a new product for the global market, from up to six months to no more than a month, according to Kolmar Korea.
“Implanted with AI, this new platform is a client-friendly solution that gets global packaging done easily and fast with our guarantee for quality. It is our initiative to support our clients’ market expansion around the world,” a Kolmar Korea official said.
Kolmar Korea said it will expand the new platform’s database to more than 10,000 package options and further strengthen its partnerships with local container manufacturers worldwide to provide stronger packaging solutions for its clients.
