Do not go gentle into that good night, old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light, though wise men at their end know dark is right, because their words had forked no lightning they, do not go gentle into that good night.

Great Place to Work (GPTW) released their 2025 Best Workplaces in Asia list on Tuesday.
Established in 1990, the private evaluation agency has annually surveyed employees of 915 companies from 16 Asian countries. GPTW said it carries out evaluations based on the agency’s “Trust Index” measurement, activities and performance. Through the evaluation, the agency identifies companies in Asia that have achieved the highest standards of trust management.
Korean cosmetics powerhouse Atomy took the third spot in the Small & Medium Business category.
The company said it has fostered an environment where employees can work freely and proactively under the motto of “Cherish the Spirit.”
Atomy was also named one of Korea’s Best Workplaces by GPTW, while Atomy Chairman Park Han-gil was recognized as Korea’s Most Respected CEO for the fifth consecutive year.
Medical business Merz Aesthetics topped the list’s Small & Medium Business category.
The firm said it has done its best to foster a working environment of investing in people, advancing innovation and nurturing a culture of respect, integrity and trust.
“The recognition underscores the belief that lasting growth comes not only from business results, but from the confidence and belonging it fosters among its people,” Merz Aesthetics said in a press release.
Company CEO Yu Su-yeon was also awarded GPTW’s Pride of Korea prize, while Executive Director of Human Resources Kim Eun-young received the Best GPTW Specialist award.
Marriott International, a global leader in hospitality with over 9,600 properties across more than 30 leading brands in 143 countries and territories, was recognized as one of the Top 3 in the Large Companies category.
The hotel operator said the honor reflects Marriott’s commitment to its “Put People First” philosophy, where trust, inclusivity and collaboration are central.
“Marriott empowers associates through global training programs, mentorship, leadership development, flexible work and wellness initiatives, ensuring employees feel supported and engaged with surveys indicating high levels of trust in leadership, pride in their work and involvement in decision-making,” it added.
Korea Water Resources Corp. (K-Water) was ranked 22nd in the Large Company category.
K-Water said the recognition reflects its ongoing efforts to strengthen family-friendly management practices and advance organizational culture initiatives. The public company had already been recognized this year as one of the Top 2 Best Workplaces in Korea by GPTW and was listed among Asia’s 200 Best Workplaces for three consecutive years starting in 2016.
