Despite slowing electric vehicle (EV) momentum and global economic uncertainty, Hyundai Mobis has maintained its No. 6 global ranking among auto parts suppliers for the fourth consecutive year, underscoring its resilient competitiveness.

The rankings were published earlier this month in the 2025 Top Suppliers list by Automotive News, a leading global automotive publication. The list ranks the world’s top 100 auto parts suppliers based on the previous year’s sales to global automakers, excluding aftermarket revenue. Widely regarded as a measure of not only sales volume, but also production reliability, order-winning capacity and trusted relationships with global clients, the ranking once again highlights the strong position of Hyundai Mobis in the global market.

Last year, Hyundai Mobis, the auto parts affiliate of Hyundai Motor Group, recorded $33 billion in original equipment sales, placing sixth globally behind Bosch of Germany, Denso of Japan, Magna of Canada, ZF of Germany and CATL of China.

Since entering the top 10 for the first time in 2011, Hyundai Mobis has maintained a strong upward growth trajectory. Over the past three years, the company has proactively responded to the shift toward EVs, resulting in a surge of global orders for EV-related and high-value-added components that have driven significant sales growth. Its sustained and bold investments in research and development have also been a decisive factor in climbing the global rankings.

This year, Hyundai Mobis plans to invest a record 2.02 trillion won in R&D, marking a 16 percent increase from last year’s 1.75 trillion won. The company is also steadily expanding its R&D workforce, which reached approximately 7,700 employees as of the first quarter of the year. Through sustained investment and strategic initiatives, Hyundai Mobis aims to secure technological leadership in the rapidly evolving mobility market.

Earlier this year, Hyundai Mobis unveiled its new vision: "Lead the Shift in Mobility, Move the World Beyond Possibilities," signaling a strong commitment to spearheading the paradigm shift in the future automotive industry. This vision embodies the company's ambition to move beyond simply supplying parts to creating new value globally through innovative technologies and solutions.

In 2025, Hyundai Mobis will continue its aggressive global sales efforts, targeting $7.44 billion in new orders. Despite ongoing global market uncertainties, the company is accelerating its drive to become a leading global player, leveraging its technological strengths and trusted partnerships.
