LG on Thursday reported its first-quarter net profit of 608.5 billion won ($436.8 million), up 65.2 percent from a year earlier.
The company said in a regulatory filing that operating profit for the January-March period rose 51 percent on-year to 638 billion won. Sales increased 19.2 percent to 1.93 trillion won.
