POSCO International said Tuesday that its website won the Grand Award in the Corporate Websites: Conglomerate category of the 2024 iNova Awards, an international website competition hosted by MerComm, a U.S. awards organization specializing in the communications fields.

Among some 120 competitors from eight countries, only five organizations received the Grand Awards in their respective categories.

The trading and energy unit of POSCO Group clinched the award following a review of finalists after winning the Gold Award in the Corporate Websites category.

Last October, POSCO International updated its website, highlighting its new catchphrase, "We Find Answers Planet-Wide," under the theme "Planet-Wide Answer for a Better World."

The website's design was recognized for showing a sunrise seen from Earth's atmosphere when users scroll down the screen.

According to POSCO International, the website's user interface maximized convenience, making it easier for users to search for the company's business and financial information. In particular, a chatbot named "PO-BOT" helps users check real-time information needed for investments in the company.

"It is an honor to receive awards in video and website categories for two consecutive years," a POSCO International official said. "Raising our company's brand awareness, we will do our best to continuously communicate with stakeholders through various channels."

In 2023, POSCO International received the Honors Award in the Video — Corporate Identity category of the MerComm-hosted Mercury Excellence Awards, with its commercial titled "With Nature Make Future."

The Mercury Excellence Awards are known as one of the world's top three renowned competitions in the public relations sector.
