Korean luxury hospitality group Josun Hotels & Resorts has launched an online store to expand its online presence with its distinctive food and lifestyle products.

According to the group, Wednesday, the website, Josun Taste & Style, began operations earlier this month to offer some 400 products as it aims to "deliver the taste and style of the hotel to customers' daily lives."

The company said it will enlarge the range of special products available exclusively for online buyers to attract more customers to the online platform.

"We will introduce various products that would exude our philosophy and values developed over the past 100 years," the hotel said in a press release.

Even before the website launch, some of the company's retail products had already enjoyed popularity at its offline shops and online shopping sites run by other companies.

According to Josun Hotels & Resorts, revenues from its kimchi products have increased by 10 percent this year so far compared with the same period last year.

Officials said revenues from all retail products have grown steadily in recent years and now account for about 15 percent of the company's total.

A company official said, "We expect that customers will be able to experience Josun Hotel's products and services more conveniently anytime, anywhere through the official online mall 'Josun Taste & Style.' We will continue to lead the premium retail market by developing more diverse products."
