Hyundai E&C upgrades quality of life in Daejeon with new Hillstate

Hyundai Engineering & Construction has revealed its new premium apartment suites in Daejeon, building a new housing community closely connected to the city’s various infrastructure and improving the quality of living, according to the major construction company, Friday.
Hillstate Gayang The Wise in the city’s Dong District consists of three buildings, each 49 levels tall with four basement levels, providing 358 suites in overall. Residents will be in close proximity to one of the tram stations being built in the city.
Highways are close to the neighborhood, providing easy access to Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Innopolis Daedeok — a state-designated region dedicated to scientific research and development — and outside the city. E-Mart, Shinsegae Style Market, CGV movie theater and Daejeon Hankook Hospital are among key city hotspots to improve everyday life at the new Hillstate complex.
Mountains, children’s parks and Gayang Elementary and Middle Schools are also within 1 kilometer of the upcoming development, in addition to a new public library scheduled to open in December.
The land value of the new Hillstate is also expected to rise due to urban development projects under progress. Following the start of construction on the city’s new tram line, a metro station development project with the biggest scale in Dong District has recently acquired a business license 16 years after its onset, kicking off its construction. Mega Chungcheong Square and a new industrial complex in the city’s Samjeong-dong are also in their design development phase, with new job opportunities coming along.
Hyundai E&C said the new Hillstate has spacious parking lots, high ceilings and community facilities comprising a day care center, a senior lounge and more.
