Job Korea partners with administrative service provider for international students

Job Korea has signed a memorandum of understanding with Hirediversity, an administrative service provider for international students in Korea, the online job portal said Monday.
Job Korea has recently introduced KLiK, its own recruiting platform for foreign jobseekers. The partnership with Hirediversity also aims to help foreigners who experience difficulties landing a job here, it added. It will also assist local employers’ recruitment.
According to the recruitment portal, Hirediversity offers various administrative services for international students in Korea via its Hirevisa app. These include speedy registration for foreign jobseekers, deposit protection and banking service assistance. It also has a partnership with 110 colleges nationwide.
About 81 percent of all international students in Seoul are using the app now.
Under the partnership between Job Korea and Hirediversity, they are expected to feature more comprehensive services, from visa administration to job recruitment, not only for international students but also for foreign jobseekers here.
“I am very happy for the two companies’ partnership,” a Job Korea official said.
“A number of foreigners are experiencing difficulties not only when they first come to the country to study but also after they finish their studies and look for a job. I hope the service could help them find success here in Korea.”
