Hyundai Engineering and Construction (E&C) will begin sales of residential and office units at Hillstate Dowon Central in Daegu, the construction company said Wednesday.
Located in the central district of Jung-gu, Hillstate Dowon Central is comprised of five 49-story buildings which house a total of 1,150 units. The size of each apartment ranges from 84 square meters to 107 square meters while office units are 84 square meters.
One of the biggest advantages to buying at Hillstate Dowon Central is its location. The new residential complex is situated near Dalseong Park subway station and various people-friendly facilities including department stores, movie theaters, an opera house and a sports complex.
Hillstate Dowon Central is also equipped with smart technologies enabling residents remote control of “internet of things” (IoT) devices.
“Using Hyundai's IoT platform, Hi-oT, residents can remotely control indoor lighting systems, ventilation control and other devices and call an elevator,” the company said.
To help residents efficiently manage energy consumption, the complex also uses Hillstate Energy Management System, which allows people to check each unit's electricity, tap water and gas use amounts in real time. A stand-by power blockage system and energy control system of each room are also available.
To offer enhanced security measure, the new residential complex also uses a car plate recognition system, surveillance cameras and digital door locks.
Despite the COVID-19 outbreak, Hyundai E&C said a soaring number of people are applying for Hillstate Dowon Central.
“We expect the demand for the new residential complex will increase due to its great location close to transport and quality living condition,” the company said. “Situated in downtown Daegu, residents will be able to enjoy the city's living infrastructure. In addition, the complex is close to public parks such as Dalseong Park and Suchang Park, enabling residents to live in a healthy residential environment.”
For people who are not able to visit the show house, the company also launched a virtual model house service on its website at hillstate.co.kr.
Speaking of the increasing popularity of Hillstate Dowon Central, the company said people prefer to buy an apartment that has big brand power.
According to a survey by real estate research firm Doctor Apart in November 2019, Hyundai E&C's Hillstate brand had the strongest brand power among numerous apartment brands here.
Another survey conducted by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute showed Hyundai E&C's Hillstate brand toped its monthly apartment brand reputation report for 11 consecutive months from April 2019 to February.
The company was also awarded six prizes at the 2019 Good Design Awards after conducting a comprehensive evaluation regarding designs, appearance, functionality and economic feasibility.
