Han Sung Motor has appointed Han Jong-moon as its vice president of sales and marketing, the official dealer for Mercedes-Benz Korea said Friday.

Han will manage the overall sales and marketing of Han Sung Motor, as the chief of the firm's sales division. He was chief operating officer (COO) for the company from 2008 to 2011.

Han Sung Motor said it is expecting Han to reinforce the business potential of the company, citing his accomplishments during his previous stint at the company. During that three-year period, Han Sung Motor's sales doubled.

Before rejoining Han Sung Motor, Han served as CEO of MFG Korea, which operates restaurant chains including Mad for Garlic, Sun at Food and Outback Steakhouse.

“I'm very happy to see Han as the new vice president of the company,” Han Sung Motor CEO Ulf Ausprung said in a statement. “His intensive sales and marketing knowledge and knowhow from his long career are going to be a huge help in reinforcing the future strategy of Han Sung Motor.”
