Dsion Signs an MOU with BlockOn Capital PTE. LTD.

Dsion, a blockchain funding platform for fair and safe startup investment, announced that it signed an MOU with BlockOn Capital on the 8th to ensure a successful opening of Startup Challenge and continue to discover and support startups in Singapore.
BlockOn Capital operates the corporate body of Founders Space, Silicon Valley’s leading startup accelerator, in Singapore and makes specialized investment in blockchain technologies in the country that offers favorable conditions for businesses related to cryptocurrency and blockchain.
The MOU is aimed at forming a partnership between Dsion and BlockOn Capital on everything from discovering promising startups to supporting them to grow and join Dsion’s platform. An official from Dsion explained the MOU is in line with the localization strategy of Startup Challenge and Dsion will leverage strategic MOUs with venture capital firms in various countries to increase the odds of success of startups on its platform and expand the platform.
Dsion selected promising startups in Singapore on the 9th from 11am to 6pm local time at Startup Challenge, cohosted by Founders Space Singapore at PSB Academy Marina Square. CEO Seo Jongpil of Dsion expressed hopes about ‘Startup Challenge: Singapore’ in his opening remarks saying the event would serve as a great opportunity to catch a glimpse of the future and find promising startups in Singapore that’s leading globally in fintech and blockchain, prospective drivers of the 4th industrial revolution.
A cash prize pool of 20,000 SGD (about 15,000 USD) was given away at ‘Startup Challenge: Singapore’ and the final winner will be given additional grants of 100 million KRW (about 89,000 USD) from Founders Space Singapore (operated by BlockOn Capital).
