Japan Tobacco International (JTI) Korea, headed by country manager Steve Dyer, has released the new limited edition of its flagship brand Camel to bolster its sales.
The cigarette maker, which accounts for about 8 percent of Korea’s cigarette market, said Tuesday that it has begun rolling out Camel Blue – Ink Edition, the fourth color edition of Camel Blue.
The new product will deliver smooth taste and high end quality to consumers by capturing the unique Camel identity of innovation and creativity, it said.
Camel Blue – Ink Edition comes in five color designs ― blue, orange, green, purple and yellow. Simple and modern curve-pack packaging adds to the premium image of the product and highlights the unique style of Camel, according to JTI Korea spokeswoman Christie Kang.
“Camel Blue–Ink Edition has captured the colorful and intuitive character of the Camel brand enjoyed by smokers around the world,” Kang said. “With high quality and a reasonable price, the new cigarette will provide smokers with an opportunity for self-expression in a bold and extraordinary way.”
Camel Blue–Ink Edition, available at convenience stores and other retailers across the country, is priced at 4,000 won per pack. It contains 6 milligrams of tar and 0.5 milligrams of nicotine.
