Former Estee Lauder boss to head YG's cosmetics

Codecosme International, YG Entertainment’s cosmetics affiliate, has named Jang Jae-yong, a former Asia-Pacific general manager of Estee Lauder Group, as president. Jang also was with Burberry Korea.

YG Entertainment took over Codecosme in November to move into the Chinese market with its Moonshot brand.Jang successfully launched Bobbi Brown, an American makeup brand, in Korea in 1999. He also headed Bobbi Brown Asia-Pacific for seven years from 2005. After serving at the brand, he moved to Burberry Group, a British luxury fashion house, as general manager in Korea for three years.
