KEB hosts seminar for foreign investors

By Kim Jae-won

Korea Exchange Bank (KEB) hosted a seminar for foreign investors earlier this week to help them set up corporations here quickly and easily, the lender said Thursday.

The bank’s senior consultant Kim Chang-bae spoke on funding solutions for individual foreign investors’ incorporations while Lim Sun-hye, a judicial scrivener of Darum Law Judicial Office, informed the audience on how to establish a corporation in Korea at the lender’s Gangnam Global Business Center in southern Seoul. About 100 foreign investors participated in the event, offered in both English and Chinese, according to KEB.

The bank said that it will spare no effort to assist foreign investors doing businesses in Korea by offering professional seminars as well as educational programs.

KEB is a leading lender in banking services for expatriates holding the biggest number of non-Korean customers here. It is No. 1 in providing foreign exchange services accounting for about half of the market share.
