2 giants account for over half of coporate profits

The Korean economy relies too heavily on its two main corporate giants to carry it forward, industry figures show, raising concerns over jobs and vulnerability to worsening global conditions.

While the disparity between large companies and the rest of the corporate field is becoming massive, data provided by Korea Exchange and market analysis website Chaebul.com indicate that the gap between the rich and super-rich has been widening just as fast during the downturn.
