KEB plans banking seminar for expats

Korea Exchange Bank (KEB) will host two personal banking seminars for expatriates on Thursday and Nov. 11 to provide information on the banking system here and services available.

The seminars, organized jointly with the Global Village Center, will cover the basics of banking from how to open a bank account and get debit and credit cards to paying utility bills and receiving money transfers from abroad.

The powerhouse in expat banking services said that its bankers will also explain how to begin banking online in English with either a Windows PC or a Mac.

An extensive question and answer (Q&A) session will be follow the seminars when staff from KEB will address customers’ queries.

The first seminar will take place at the Global Village office in Itaewon, while the second one will be at the Seorae branch office. For more information, visit the centers’ web sites: global.seoul.go.kr/itaewon and global.seoul.go.kr/seorae.
