GM recalls Cadillac CTs for oil leakage

The South Korean seller of General Motors will recall the Cadillac CTS for potential oil leakages, the local ministry said Sunday.

GM Korea, the local distributor of the U.S. carmaker, will recall 560 Cadillac CTS vehicles manufactured between May 20, 2002 and April 28, 2006 and imported to South Korea, the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs said.

The recall decision was made after the cars were found to have a corroded frontal brake pipe, potentially leading to brake oil leaks, the ministry said.

Owners of the cited vehicles can receive free repairs at service centers designated by GM Korea from Monday or apply for a refund for repair charges, it said.
