The new Audi A6 midsize luxury sedan will be unveiled in Korea in a lavish ceremony, Wednesday, according to local representatives of the German automaker.
Audi Korea has rented more than 3,150 square meters of space at the Jamsil Sports Complex in southern Seoul and has built the New A6 Terminal to host the launch. Audi has invited about 1,000 industry officials and potential car buyers to the event.
Audi Korea said it will donate about 100 million won (about $78,000) from new A6 sales to Good Neighbors, an international charity group.
The A6, which first debuted in 1968 as the Audi 100, is one of the automaker's most globally popular luxury models.
``The new A6 is a top business sedan that combines Audi's elegant design with dynamic driving capability and technology,'' said Trevor Hill, Audi Korea's managing director, in a statement released in Korean.
