PCA Life to Donate Books to Children
PCA Life Korea is donating books and funds to build a library for SOS Children's Village, a shelter for underprivileged children.
The British insurer in Korea said its employees donated around 800 children's and teenagers' books and DVDs collected at a campaign held for two weeks in May.
Cambridge University Press, which has been contributing books for PCA Life's corporate social responsibility programs, also plans to donate 150 English books including Cambridge Leaders to enhance children's English skills.
These will be donated to the SOS Children's Villages in Seoul, Daegu, and Suncheon, along with funds to build a library.
The insurer has been sponsoring the organization since 2006. It holds "PCA English Adventure," a mobile English class for SOS Village children, "PCA English Soccer Camp," and "PCA Year-end Party with SOS Village Children" on an annual basis.
