ING Life, a Dutch insurer in the country, invited customers to the exhibition of van Gogh as a part of its ``cultunomics'' program, Monday.

Customers were invited to ``Enjoy van Gogh'' held at the Seoul Museum of Art. On top of seeing the ``Van Gogh Exhibition: Voyage into the Myth,'' for which the insurer is the main sponsor, customers saw monodrama on the life of the great Dutch artist. There also were art classes for children.

The insurer said it sought creating economic value through cultural activities as a part of its ``cultunomics'' program, which combines culture with economy. The insurer held an online marketing campaign at the exhibition, introducing its new customer service ING Orange Mall and webzine to expand online customer base.

``The program aims at providing unique services to customers, on top of executing our competitive marketing strategy. I think it shows our global leadership,'' said the insurer's chief marketing officer (CMO) Arjan Toor.
