KB launches departure guarantee payment service at Incheon International Airport

KB Kookmin Bank announced it started offering a departure guarantee payment service at Incheon International Airport for foreign workers leaving Korea.
A departure guarantee is a type of insurance that guarantees severance pay for foreign workers, to which their employers are obligated to subscribe. Foreign workers can collect their money at the airport or have the money sent to their overseas bank accounts within 14 days of their departure.
With KB’s launch of the service, foreign workers who have applied for the insurance benefits can apply for currency exchanges at KB Kookmin Bank’s Incheon International Airport branch or currency exchange counter and receive the benefits in foreign currency cash at the duty free area currency exchange counter.
"We will actively support foreign workers by operating dedicated counters within Incheon International Airport. We will continue providing various products and services to enhance the financial convenience of foreign workers,” a KB Kookmin Bank official said.
